Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Christmas in July Blog Hop inspiring you to get out your Christmas stash and use it before all the new collections are released later this month.  Join the fun and create something too.  Use the hashtag #scrapbookchristmas on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

For this first layout I used some really old Basic Grey Jovial and Cupcake mixed in with some more recent Echo Park Seasons and Simple Stories Handmade Holiday papers. For the embellies I went all the way back to Scrapworks (chipboard) and Making Memories (chipboard buttons and star sequins) among lots of other fun stash.

For this one I started with more Simple Stories Handmade Holiday and the Making Memories and Scrapworks embellies.  For the title work I mixed two October Afterrnoon alphas with a pretty glitter Thicker...

Next on the hop is Ros http://noteverypicturezperfect.blogspot.com.au/  Be sure to check out her inspiration!  If you get lost along the way, I've included the whole list below.  Happy hopping!!

I'm really glad you stopped by today.  Hopefully you'll take a few minutes to look around.  P.s.  I'm thinking the Christmas bug may have rubbed off on my brood. This is not the first Christmas movie I've caught them watching this week, lol.

Well, I'm already working on my JULY Birds of a Feather kits, so I figured It was time to share my May projects here. May's kit was such a happy kit filled with a delightful mix of Simple Stories and Lily Bee.  I just loved all of the pretty papers Amy chose and the fun embellishments...  And those Lily Bee alphas, a new favorite, for sure!

A fun belated Fourth celebration with good friends and a Lemonade Stand for a good cause...

I Need a Twelve Step Program

Hello faithful blog readers.  I'm here, just up to my ears enjoying my hubby home for the summer (the only time of 2013) AND entertaining the brood with Momma's Summer O Fun 2013.   It's been a fun summer with the exception of P.J. breaking his collarbone.  We are praying for a speedy recovery so he can get back to our last year of Mustang football which will hopefully culminate in a return trip to Florida for the National Championships!

Lots of scrappiness to share today.  More Studio Calico Neverland plus Dear Lizzy love...

*** how did this happen?!,

***waiting for Scotty McCreery to start

Alright, Just One More With Neverland

Still hanging in here.  Wondering how I keep at this craziness that I call our life.  The kids continue to amaze me with their goodness.  I thank God everyday that they are such good people.  They are my constant reminder that I must be doing something right.  Who in their right mind would choose to live apart from their husband just home from a deployment?!?  This crazy lady.  It's all about what's best for the minions.  I know that keeping them in one place for another year is best.  I know that this is most likely the last time we will have back to back orders in one duty station before Patrick retires.  And that, my friends, could be a dozen years away, gulp.  So, I just keep swimming.  And praying that it all works out.  Just keep swimming...

BOAF April Reveals

So much to share these days, but just don't have the heart to do it properly. So much good stuff happening in our world. So much to be thankful for. So many blessings in my life. But, so much to worry about, too. For everything there is a season...

On the bright side, April's Birds of a Feather kit was so much fun...

The One With a Little Neverland Love

I kinda like Studio Calico's kits.  Just kinda.  I have for ages.  I've been subbing since Whodunit (January 2010).  But, I was stalking them for about a year before I made the leap.  This past March's kits were my favorite ever.  And that's saying a lot because Bakers Dozen and Lawn Party held that title for quite awhile.  So, hope you like these kits, too.  There MAY be a dozen or more layouts headed this way...
