No Faces Friday for The Last Day of School

A Glimpse of our life.

Julia's little cubby. She sleeps here next to Reagan, because she just can't sleep alone in her own room/bed.

Miss Sophia SITTING and watching big brother's awards assembly...

Sullivan's burn is healing. So much so, that he shared a bandaid with the baby...

Farmer Jesse is back!!

I'm back! To hanging out behind my lens. Ahh...

A nice diversion for Frick & Frack while I threw birthday presents in the cart without them seeing.

If you want to make the Twinnies day, just give them a box of flipflops. These are Bubba's shoes and Sullivan's feet...

(I know there's a face here, but it's not one of mine). She just loves this puppy. She must hug it one more time before we go... Look at her droopy little bum.

Blueberry pancake stained top, ZhuZhu Pets, and fruitsnacks. Ahh, this is the life.

Artwork after the sprinkler.

Be back soon with lots of scrappy inspiration. Hope you are enjoying this new day.

Can't Beat 'em? May as Well Join 'em

The holiday/birthday season continues to kick my arse. The twins continuing to boycott their nap continues to kick my arse even harder. With that said, I'm lucky to get ready for Christmas, much less get my scrap on. So, I apologize for the light on the scrappy posts. But, I will be back with scrappy bells on come January 1, 2010. So much up my sleeves, I tell ya.

The out of town packages went out last week. The dreaded, I mean wonderful Christmas card/photocard/letter went out Monday. So, that leaves eating, I mean baking goodies with the cherubs. And, spending time with my folks who are back in VA to spend Christmas with my brood. So blessed they'll travel for me, cuz Lord knows, I can't travel with this crew. The Coca Cola Company doesn't make enough Diet Coke for that!!

Here's Reagan the morning of the ER evening. Darn that Sassy roughhousing...

Quick! She's coming!

Bribery works wonders to keep them out from underfoot for a few... (don't ask about the hat)

I will not touch, I will not touch, I will..

I should save this for the next No Faces Friday...

These pictures are just waiting to be scrapped...

One bit of scrappiness. Did this for a Design Team call... Love how it turned out.

No Faces Friday on Black Friday

These were my grandmother's. (And their faces don't count, wink).

a 2 year old boy and his things with wheels...

the bounty of goodies baked by an aunt with love...

a big sister leading the way...

discovering a much anticipated toy...

birthday cake #3 for a 5 year old...

a sweet message from a bowling alley... (look closely at this one)

a Cub Scout's bird feeder...

Lots more to share, but with little time. Enjoying my family in for the Thanksgiving holiday. Hope you are, too.

Momma's Gotta Brand New Pair of Shoes

Time for this week's installment of No Faces Friday. Just to recap... I'm sharing photos sans faces in my quest to see something a little different through my lens and hopefully, tell a different story. The first two are from our big pumpkin patch day. I was enthralled with this food stand. I definitely like the first shot the best.

Here's a photo of the one ride we all rode on. Maybe not the best choice. The first word out of each twins' mouth was "out" when the ride stopped.

I take a lot of this perspective. When we're out and about, he leads the way with a stroller and I bring up the rear to watch for stragglers.

Sullivan driving through the rib rub they dumped...

Sophia cleaning up behind him. She's such a little Momma. Or was it just guilt?...

Love taking seasonal decor shots... haven't figured out how to get a good one of a shelf...

A quick shot of Manny with Sassy's babydoll stroller in the background (Daddy Guilt Gifts)...
I sense a pattern here... Sullivan about to drive through their handiwork... this time it's coffee...

I've been in this Get it Done scrappy mood. I've had these cra**y soccer pix and this Becky H. sketch sitting on my scrapbook desk since the Spring. I put this together right quick. Once again, it's a 2-pager and I'm too lazy to take a wide shot. But, you get the picture.

I had one huge pile of stuff left over from my last scrapping binge. I pulled out one small stack of scraps because they didn't match the rest. Here's what I did with that stack. Hope to get some stuff done with the other pile real soon. And, no I refuse to throw away ANY scrap of Sass...

A New Kinda Post

In my quest to tell a different story through my pictures and scrapbook pages, I'm starting a new post here. It's called No Faces Friday. I'm going to avoid my adorable little kiddos' messy faces and try to see something a little off the obvious path.
For instance, a peek at our daily lives... the twins lunches packed for the ride to pick up Reagan at school, the adorable little shoes I spend so much time replacing, the line of lunches lovingly packed by yours truly with homework, as well, our last "Brinner" (breakfast for dinner" before Hubby returns, and Sullivan's usual stance at Saturday's games.

In honor of my blog's FIFTIETH post, I'd like to offer a little scrapbook RAK to one of my readers. Leave me a comment telling me one of the things you love about Fall. I'll pick a name one week from today 10/9 at 10pm et. Thanks for reading.
Oh, the countdown clock now shows FOUR DAYS. Hubby will be here on Tuesday!
