Today, I am... February Edition, Part Dos

Today I am thankful for Diet Coke ON TAP from McDonalds. Pure bliss. Forget the recipe for the special sauce, just tell me how they make this Coke!

I am thankful for little girls' shoes that sparkle just like they do.
I am thankful for the "hot chair" in my Yukon XL that always goes on accidentally when the temperature is 110 degrees outside. These days it works wonders on my poor, old back.
I am thankful for the promise of Spring. It's getting light outside earlier and earlier. This makes it soo much easier to wake my sleepy brood.
I am thankful that I can still calm a crying toddler awakened by a nightmare involving monsters with just the sound of my voice and a "Momma's here."
I am thankful for three-year-olds who CAN'T listen to Pink loud enough while running errands with the Momma.
I am thankful that my hubby has a job that makes him happy. AND, one that allows him to fly up to Philly to pick me up a couple of these to sample and compare. Sigh...

P.S. All the layouts were done either for or over at Scrapbook Express. If you need lots of fun challenges to get you scrapping, that is the place to be!

Today, I am... February Edition

Today I am thankful for...
Little boys who can be entertained for what seems like hours by all things with wheels.

I am thankful for Stouffers every once in a while. Stouffers means I only have to empty and run the dishwasher once a day. This is nothing short of a day "off" in my book.

I am thankful for kids who set their sights high. Enjoyed taking the three Bigs to Applebee's to enjoy their free meals they EACH earned for being good kids at school.

I am thankful that I, I mean P.J., finally earned his Webelo's badge. Phew I'm pooped.

I am thankful that P.J. still thinks it's cool to be chosen to be for Safety Patrol at school. Only the best were chosen, and that's what he is.

I am thankful that I've been blessed enough to stay home for my kids. I'm thankful for the opportunity to be the room mom for each of my Bigs' Kindergarten classes over the years. There's nothing quite like bonding with your wee one and their friends over a little paper & glue. These memories will be with them forever.

I am thankful that God blessed me with a mini ME, for better or worse... She IS me.

I'm thankful for my own time to play just a little...

P.s. This last one is for Scrap That Baby's newest prompt. Come play along with us. The girls on this team have mad skillz and you want to be inspired by them!

This is What I Get for Purging, My Scraproom, That Is

Found the twins in the kitchen like so. Yes, the rest of their bodies are as bare as the top half. Eeeks! I guess I'll stop Spring Cleaning lest I find them in this state of undress again.

Tuesday's Version of Today I Am:

I am grateful for friends who help out when all he** breaks loose. My sweet friends know that if I am asking for help, I really need it. 13 days after DH left (this past Sunday) I had to take P.J. to the er. He had to have his finger drained of all this foul, nasty, painful green goo before they removed his nail. Double ugh.

I am thankful for prayers answered. He is healing way faster than even I had imagined. The pain is already improving.

I am thankful for small ride-ons that entertain my wee-est ones as they run them in circles around our living areas.

I am happy for infectious giggles from those same wee-est ones.

I am happy for new scrappy goodies. I always have boxes to wait for. Thank you to CP and Heather at SO for this.

I am grateful for our YMCA. The people they hire are truly amazing. Amazing enough to coax my middle one into the pool. Thank you for getting them.

I am thrilled beyond measure to tell my Bigs that they do not have to wear their "big coats" ALL week. Is that Spring I see knocking at my door?!?

I am shocked to see how the Twinnies have grown. They were running and climbing and sliding at the park yesterday. Here, all these things are allowed. Not so much at our home where they learned those skills.

Now, on to scrappy goodness. These first ones are mostly all Studio Calico. Man, I love their stuff!!

These next ones I did for Croppin Paradise. They feature Basic Grey's Nook and Pantry line. You can find these supplies in the store. Go get some...

I've got more to share. But, I hear quiet intermixed with "NO!!!!!!". Gotta run...

A New Year, New Notebooks

Being a busy girlie, I make lots of lists & write EVERYTHING down. So, I like pretty notebooks as some of you readers already know. Well, a new year has sprung, and that means new teams and new notebooks. These are my latest creations...

The Croppin Paradise has made it's mid February reveals. Here are my contributions...

I'm starting a new feature here. I think it's pretty self explanatory. Tell me what you think...

Today I Am:

I am thankful for Dum Dum "pops". They get me through my days with the Twinnies. I actually went into a store (non-grocery) with them in tow. They love their pops.

I am exhausted from our Clean Sweep in preparation for the cleaning lady starting today.

I am excited for the cleaning service that starts today. If you think I EVER have any time to deep clean our home, you are off your rocker. I keep up, that's it.
I am so grateful for little holidays to celebrate with the brood. The happiness a few new ZhuZhu pets and a garage/car and big boxes of Nerds for the Bigs can bring. Or an Elmo phono and a My Little Pony and introducing Pez to the twins is too much fun. Wowzers.

I am enjoying THREE bouquets of flowers in our home.

I am changing my jewelry over to my "deployment jewelry". My wings of gold, my E-2, and my peridot horseshoe necklaces. These go beautifully with my new diamond stud earrings from my sweetheart. See, he really DOES listen.

I am thankful for paper & glue.

I am happy I took the time to lay on my belly with my 5 year old and watch Disney Channel's Kick Buttowski.

I am beside myself that Patrick finished all of the laundry AND we got it all put away.

I am tickled pink that I am blessed to have girls that I can dress up to my heart's content.

I am thankful for the internet guy who got me back up & running. That was rough.

I am hopeful that the Twinnies case of the "MINE!!!!!!'s" will pass soon.

I am thankful for my down time at the end of the day spent with my P.J.
that's all for tonight. Good night.
